The CPU

Graphics designing involves a lot of heavy tasks that need a lot of computing power. If you want to get work done in the shortest time possible, you need to get a laptop with a CPU that can handle such tasks. For graphics and drawing, I recommend a laptop with a processor that is at least core i5 4th generation or newer. Newer generation CPUs have better graphics processing capabilities.

Some older generation computers can also get the work done but processing may take more time. Another important point to note is that most Intel processors are better than AMD in single-core processing. This gives them an edge in doing graphics design work.

RAM

Most of the graphics and drawing software needs a good amount of RAM to fully function without any lags. The minimum amount of RAM I would recommend is 8gb. Storage

I would recommend getting a laptop with an SSD of at least 256GB. This will give you good speed and also enough space to install most of your software. If you run out of space, you can buy an external hard disk for storing your large project files

Graphics card

If you intend to do light graphics work like simple photo editing, then you may not need a dedicated graphic card. Intel HD graphics will be good enough. However, if you want to do heavy graphics work like video rendering, you will need a computer with a dedicated graphics card to boost up the graphics processing. For such work, I would recommend a graphics processor with at least 2gb dedicated video memory. If you can afford, go for one with 4gb dedicated video memory.

Hp ProBook 440 G5

It may not be the latest generation Pc, but this ProBook model is still very capable of doing great work for a couple of years to come. It is also not as expensive as the latest generation models. The major feature of this laptop are as follows;
